Courage is doing what you are afraid to do

“Courage is doing what you’re afraid to do. There can be no courage unless you’re scared.”

Eddie Rickenbacker
World War I hero

This is a phrase I love and is something to remind me when I am afraid of doing something. So if you are thinking you can’t do something because you are afraid then think again. Fear is good and it means that you are alive!
Go for it and have the courage to be who you want to be.

    Hi Russell,

Fear is a horrible thing isn’t it? Only if we let it though. Most of the time, I think people just think the worst and it stops them from ever going out there to achieve their dreams. I think it’s devastating to think of all the people in history who have had big dreams, but failed to turn them into their reality. To achieve success, you have to break through your self-limiting thoughts and just go out there to make it happen! Nobody else is going to do it for you. Nobody else is going to make you successful. You either let the fear make or break you. Break through the fear and you can change your life for the better and live to the max!

I agree with the sentiment about courage .I have just set up a site to give advice.Ironically having come from the Corporate World and having bought over many SME companies I find that sometimes owners do not know what to be worried and brave about .The fact that they have created a company for sure is brave but they can become overwhelmed with the prospect of running the pie shop rather than only making pies. I find with a bit of direction based on hard won experience their courage and fortitude can be very rewarding
