I came across this video which explains about the five mistakes an entrepreneur makes in business.

We all make mistakes and if we are smart we learn from those mistakes and move on. However, if we can learn from other people about mistakes not to make in what we are doing then even better – so if you run your own business and are already an entrepreneur or if you are considering setting up in business then I recommend you watch this video, as it has some good tips for you.

    Hi,

I was wondering if the owner of this blog could give a little bit of info about his business? It would be nice to know your background. I find your blog very useful to read – but know very little about the author

Hi Mike – thank you for your comment. My back ground is that I have run a number of different businesses and one of my present businesses is a care business caring the for the elderly in their own homes. I also have a small property portfolio in the UK. I am also a qualified Chartered Accountant having qualified in 1988 and ran my own accounting practice for 10 years which I sold back in 2003. I am also a qualified Chartered Tax Adviser too. I hope that this answers some of your questions. Please let em know if you have any further questions on this subject.

This is so true! however I don’t feel it is just applicable to entrepreneurs, as when I ran a sales team and trained them not to fall into the well known pitfalls, they still did it! I think more experienced entrepreneurs learn from their previous mistakes and hopefully gain the common sense to see some of the future ones.
